Begin your journey of learning one of the world's oldest instruments! I teach a hybrid of Grandjany and Salzedo techniques, which will give you a wide range to play anything from classical European to modern popular music. I am currently taking students of all levels.

Music Theory Lessons
Learn the structure and theory of music! These lessons may be done virtually or in person. Topics include notation, rhythm, harmony, counterpoint, tonal systems, and music history.

Transcriptional Lessons
Transcription is a powerful skill to have. Instruments are made differently, have different capabilities, and follow slightly different musical rules. Taking music from one instrument to another is a great skill to have for both solo performance and accommodating ensembles of various composition. Lessons also include basic copyright law.

Compositional Lessons
Make your very own original music a reality! Learn how to put your musical idea onto paper and improve it's tonal qualities to match your style. All lessons are built on your own ideas and melodies. Lessons may be done virtually or in person. Includes basic copyright law.
